Youth Groups

The young people of our parish are a critical part of our congregation: they represent, of course, our very future, but more immediately, they bring a special vitality and the unique perspectives of youth to all of our parish activities, from worship to outreach.

Our middle school and high school youth are involved at every level of our liturgical celebrations, from ushers to acolytes, gospellers and crucifers to readers.

They contribute to the parish’s established outreach efforts and have taken on a long list of their own as well, including fundraising for local community organizations, Midnight Runs and Breakfast Runs to help New York City’s homeless with food, clothing and toiletries, and fundraising for relief efforts in Haiti and elsewhere.

New members are always welcome – those interested should contact the church office, Youth Group Leader Tina Treyz (treyzfam6@aol.com) or any member of the middle school or high school groups.
